Maya loves to give massage because she enjoys helping people feel better. Maya is extremely compassionate, has a calming and quiet personality and genuinely cares about her clients well-being. Maya has a unique ability to release chronic tension, relax a tired soul and provides a quiet beautiful sanctuary so that you can "Be truly cared for." Maya graduated from the Sebastopol Massage Center in 2008 and has been practicing massage ever since. In 2010, Maya graduated from Sky Hill Institute with over 800 hours of intensive massage therapy education. Maya is an Essential Oil Specialist and uses a variety of healing essential oils during her massage sessions. Maya is a California State & Nationally Certified massage therapist and is fully insured through ABMP. In 2013, Maya will be studying Ashiatsu in Portland Oregon.
Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique that uses deep compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body. It combines flowing centrifugal and centripetal push & pull: pumping movements that can create a structural change in chronic soft tissue damage. Bars are used above the client's body for balance, support and precise pressure. It's the deepest most luxurious and therapeutic massage on the planet and I will be offering it in 2013. Maya is currently not massaging clients, because she is on pregnancy leave, but she is still
managing her business and making sure you receive superior care
from all of her therapists!
Michael's formal training began over 15 years ago when he studied Acupressure and Shiatsu at the Acupressure Institute in Berkley, California. His studies continued and broadened at The Pacific Center of Awareness and Bodywork in Hawaii where he learned Deep Tissue and Structural Integration. These experiences helped Michael realize his passion for Bodywork and they have provided the basis for his well rounded approach to Healing Touch.
Micheal has studied Swedish, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue, and Structural Integration. His style usually incorporates most of these modalities into a seamless experience that is potent yet relaxing. Micheal has a strong yet nurturing touch and the ability to be versatile in his approach to bodywork. Whether you are looking for a therapeutic Deep Tissue massage or more of a relaxing Swedish style or a combination of both, Michael can accommodate to your specific requests. Michael is aware that every client has different needs and he is sensitive to these needs.
Clients often tell Michael that his intuitive style of assisted stretching and joint movement is very effective. He has found that this technique is useful for unwinding chronic tension and alleviating pain from old injuries. His calm and relaxed demeanor helps to facilitate a space of trust where deep healing and relaxation can begin.
Kim believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and that massage therapy is one of the many pathways to restoring balance and well-being“I believe a massage should transport you to a space of peace and tranquility. I like to start each session by asking my clients to visualize such a space. It is important to me to provide each of you with an experience that is as unique as you are.”
The foundation for Kim’s intuitive massage and creative body work sessions comes from her in-depth study of working with energy and meditation. Kim meets the rhythm of your relaxed breathing and follows it searching out pain and tension. “It’s as if the muscles talk to me and tell me what they need”
Kim has an adept ability of perceiving the body’s needs and meeting them with the appropriate technique. Kim has been trained in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Myofascial Therapies, Shiatsu, Sports massage, Pregnancy massage and Thai massage. Kim is a graduate of National Holistic Institute where she completed a 740 hour intensive program to become a Certified Massage Therapist and Health Educator. While attending NHI Kim worked
1999 and taught meditation classes from 2001 to 2004. She is on her
way to becoming a Reiki II practitioner and looks forward to
continuing her education in the holistic healing field.

workers compensation, auto insurance I work in Sonoma, Marin and Napa Counties. I provide one of the best massages in the Bay Area! I specialize in Deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage and chronic pain relief. I also provide couples massages with a wonderful massage therapist friend of mine. Support local independent massage therapists! Corporate massage franchises like Massage envy under pay and over work their employees. Massage is a healing modality and should be honored as such. I look forward to working with you to make each massage session or special occasion one to remember!
